Director Statement
“CYBERDYKE is a film about queer loneliness. Filmmaking is my vessel to overcome and empower myself within this notion, considering in its very nature, collaboration and community is essential. No one can make a film alone, and there is something comforting to that fact. This is the project where I was introduced to frequent Stonehaven Films collaborator Izzy Burns, and one where I continued to explore a creative relationship with cinematographer Abraham Montes. Huxiruyi Alimu also contributed more to Cyberdyke than I could possibly write here. I am grateful for this wonderful team.”
